The second-generation SafeSkin technology introduces several improvements, including enhanced non-contact detection with a range of 15cm and a highly responsive 10ms response time. This allows for faster operation speeds between humans and machines, ranging from 0.25/s to 1m/s. Additionally, it significantly reduces collision damage by 90% when operating at high speeds.
The CR5S is capable of performing tasks such as pick and place operations, assembly, 3D printing, CNC milling, laser engraving, screwdriving, bin picking, and more. It caters to the needs of industries such as consumer electronics, semiconductor, food and beverage, metal processing, and healthcare.
Designed with user-friendly features, the Dobot CR5S ensures ease of use and programming. It offers multiple programming options, including a graphical interface similar to scratch, scripting using programming languages like LUA, and API support for languages such as C, C#, Python, Kotlin, and others. Additionally, it provides the ability to manually teach the robot by physically moving it, making it accessible to users with varying levels of expertise. Moreover, the CR5S can be controlled using smartphones, tablets, and computers.
